Eja’s mother, Shania, shared her bond with her son Eja on the day of Mother’s Day in her own way. 

She always posts a picture of her carrying her son Eja while he was a baby on her social media accounts. 

In one of the pictures, she was captured holding Eja in her arms while she was standing on a ranch. 

In the picture, the lady wore a knitted floor-length sleeveless cardigan that showed her abs too. 

As soon as the picture was posted, her fans commented with a sweet message wishing her a Mother’s Day. 

Fans were there praising Shania by stating her a gorgeous, emotional mom and son and many more. 

Other than that, when talking about her marriage, she and her ex-husband named, Robert John Lange, gave birth to Eja. 

Shania mentioned her son, saying that her son, too, has a crazy passion for making music and sound. 

Further adding that her son has been into it for a few years now. She says that his sounds sound like Nashville as Eja listens to EDM, and he is a huge fan of it. 

On the live appearance with Kelly and Ryan, Shania shared that occasionally, the mother-son duo gets in the studio together and shares each other ideas. 

She revealed her son uses synthesizers, and she uses the guitar. 

She added that the audience might get something great someday if the duo comes up with something in the nearest future.

Sadly, there occurred an incident where the singer suffered from a mysterious illness, leaving her with no singing voice. 

In the year 2010, Shania suffered from Lyme disease. 

The lady shared how she contracted the bacterial infection after she was bitten by a tick during the time of horse riding in Virginia in the year 2003. 

She revealed her being in the center of her UP! Tour. 

The effect of that disease was fast as she went through dizzy spells and fell off the stage each night, which resulted in losing her voice making inability to sing. 

She was not able to find the cause of what was affecting her voice. 

The artist says that it took them seven years to find the actual cause; that was the nerve damage to her vocal cords which was directly caused by Lyme disease as well. 

Shania expresses how her voice was a big part of her self-expression; not only for her but for all the vocalists and singers. 

She says that it is devastating in many ways. This incident made her take a break for more than a decade, precisely 15 years away from music. 

The artist says that no doctor could explain how that happened, so she claimed it was psychological. She says that she didn’t buy it, so it is psychological. 

Lastly, she says that she couldn’t call out for the dog, wasn’t heard clearly on the phone, or spoke in loud environments.
