What inspired him to become an actor?

Acker said he has a vivid memory of watching Star Wars, which was always his thing, his go-to.

He had never seen anything like that at that point in his life and also had never experienced it.

"It took him out of his zone, and it was an out-of-body experience," he said in an interview with Nerds and Beyond.

He recalled laying on the floor in his house in Indiana, and it opened his eyes to the world.

Although he knew nothing about acting, he was too young but had the feeling of wanting to be part of the acting world.

Something sort of clicked in him, which he doesn't know how and why, but the characters Luke Skywalker and Han Solo are just so inspiring and so moving even as a young boy, he said.

It inspired him. He moved to New York on his own to try acting and trying to get a sag card at the age of 19, not knowing what it meant.

He only knew he wanted to be in the business and wanted to be a part of it. While in New York, he was doing commercial and print work to make a living.

He used to be on sets of big movies doing extra work. He knew right away where he wanted to be but didn’t know what aspect.

He later moved to Los Angeles. He had connections in LA through a print agency in New York that told him to stay in a model apartment.

His first big break was the live-action teen science–fiction television series Tower Prep for Cartoon Network, where he got to play the lead character Ian Archer.

His soon-to-be wife

Acker has been happily engaged to his long-term girlfriend, Markie Farnsley, whom he met a decade ago.

According to Acker, they first met at the bar she worked at. He was there with some of his friends.

They had two mutual friends who introduced them. It was a rocky start, but it slowly and gradually grew into something else.

Both of them knew there was a connection right off the bat, but they were not rushing anything.

Acker said when he looked back on those times, he now realizes that it was a different connection.

He had met a ton of women before her, but he just felt a little different with her. He felt like they were excellent friends before they knew each other.

The couple has been together since then. Since they are now engaged, they might get married any time soon.
