Her parents, Andy and Tammy, have been married for over a decade and are still going strong. 

Tammy has been the rock since the very beginning of Andy’s career. 

During the virtual fireside chat for their church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a Mormon church, they opened up about how they first met.

According to Tammy, they happened to be in the same tennis class at Brigham Young University. 

She said she found Andy cute and that she didn’t know Andy was a football player for a while. 

She wanted him to ask her out, but he didn’t, so she had to goad him to ask her out. She recalled playing racquetball on their first date. 

After the semester was over, Andy went to Los Angeles, and Tammy went to Arizona. 

Tammy said her father was a little hesitant about their relationship when he saw Andy for the first time. 

During the summer break, Andy went to meet Tammy. 

His hair at the time had grown long, and as he pulled up in a Volkswagen bus with curtains all around the back and a bed in the back, his father was like O my Gosh, who is this guy our daughter is dating”? Tammy recalled. 

Andy went on to spend a week with her family. 

On the last night, Andy’s father advised him to figure out what their daughter’s all about, telling her she is all about their church and the gospel, and if he wanted to discover more about that, he needed to take the discussions from their missionaries. 

And as he said, Andy decided to meet the missionaries and consider things throughout the rest of summer. 

He was getting ready to head back to school when he asked Tammy if her father would baptize him. 

Her father baptized him, and they got married the following year, in 1981.

Drew has four siblings where three are brothers, and one is a sister. The eldest child in her family was Garrett Reid, who was born in 1983 in Utah. 

He is no longer alive as he died in Pennsylvania on August 5, 2012, after struggling with drug addiction. 

Britt Reid was the second-born child in the Reid family. He is a football coach. 

The youngest son, Spencer Reid, was also a football player who had played for Temple University. 

Drew’s sister, Crosby Reid, was born on March 17, 1988, and was the first daughter in their family. 

She is married to her college sweetheart

Drew exchanged wedding vows with Devin Woodhouse in February 2013. Their big day was held in a church with the attendance of family and close friends. 

Devin originally belonged to Alta Loma, California. He professionally serves as a certified strength and conditioning specialist. 

He worked as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. 

Her husband has also worked along with her father in Kansas. He is currently associated with the Kansas City Chiefs. 

So, how did their relationship start? Their relationship started after one of their mutual friends introduced them while they both were in college. 

Drew was attending Brigham Young University, whereas Devin was attending Utah Valley University. 

They dated for a few months, and Devin popped the question. Drew didn’t waste a second and said yes. They got engaged in September 2012. 

They are together to date and are going strong. They are blessed with three adorable kids whom they named Blake, Reid, and Brigitte.

Andy Walter Reid was born on March 19, 1958, in Los Angeles, California, United States. 

He is a former football player and current head coach of the National Football League team Kansas City Chiefs. 

He has served the respective team since 2013. Andy is the only NFL coach who has won 100 games. 

He started coaching in 1982 by being a graduate assistant for the BYU Cougars football team.

In college, a quarterback told him to get out of the box and coached the tight ends, and he started coaching quarterbacks.

Being an NFL coach, Andy said you take yourself to a certain attitude, loving to come in to work and, even if you have a bad day or good day, dealing with the media.

When Andy was asked for advice to become a coach, he said that one of the things that helped him was starting from a lower level at the pro ranks or college ranks, and you work your way up, so you get to see the whole pitcher and you appreciate after you develop your ability to teach because that’s what a coach does. 

He also added you’re not going to be a good head coach without good players and good coaches. 

He said with good players, you can teach as a coach, and normally, the games can be won. 

Andy: Losses stick longer than wins.

During the comparison of win and loss, Andy gave a statement that he thinks losses stick with you longer than the wins, the wins are a beautiful thing, describing that let’s move on and go on for the next one. 

He added that the trick to the comparison was if you can learn from each is, keeping them balanced as on the losses, you don’t get too low by learning from your mistakes, and when you win, don’t get too high.

Kansas Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and singer-songwriter Taylor Swift have been the talk of the town since they started dating in 2023. 

Before Kelce met Red Singer, there was someone from the Chiefs who knew her, and it was none other than Chiefs’ head coach Andy Reid. 

While appearing on one of the episodes of Let’s Go! with Tom Brady and Jim Gray podcast, Reis revealed how he met the Karma singer before his tight end. 

He jokingly said he wasn’t too excited hearing his girlfriend knew his coach before him. 

“So, that was the last thing Trav wanted to hear, that I knew her before him. She told him, ”I know your coach,” and he went, “Oh God, Come on,” Reid said, laughing.

Her dad, Scott Swift, played at the University of Delaware and was a big football fan and a good guy. It was there when he met him and the singer.

Reid also made it clear that their romance has no interference at all in the NFL team. 

He gushed about her, calling her a good girl and expressing he was happy for Trav and that there had been no distraction that way at all. 

”Trav’s handled it right, and she’s handled it right, and we just move forward. So it hasn't been a problem at all”, he said.
