Not only Jude but their younger son Jobe is also a footballer.

Jude fell in love with the sports, watching his father play in the non-league.

The non-league style of toughness and grittiness when needed which is reflected in his game comes from watching his father play, he told Guardian

He also said that his parents are not only great parents but are great people.

As parents, Denise and her husband are trying their best to support their two sons, who are miles apart from each other.

They decided to split for the sake of their son's career.

When Jude signed for Borussia Dortmund in 2020, Dennise went with Jude to stay with him while her husband lived with Jobe, who plays for Sunderland Association Football Club.

Her son described her role in his life to be more than his coaches and managers

Jude credits his success to his beloved mother, whom he calls "Queen."

During an interview with Daily Mail, he said that his mother's role is massive, which is probably the biggest role of anyone, more than his coaches and managers.

Denise is not only playing the role of the mother but also as a manager. She still helps him make his bed and sometimes takes him to training.

She manages Jude's financial affairs allowing him to completely focus on his football career without getting distracted by fame and money.

Jude credits his mother for keeping him grounded.

He says without her, he would sometimes get too low with the lows and too high with the highs and that he stays pretty humble because he has her around.

Jude was not interested in football initially

Jude began his football journey at Stourbridge Juniors, a club set by his father.

His early memory of playing football would be Saturday mornings when his father and some other people would be coaching and trying to get him into football but he wasn't just having it, he said in an interview.

He would be just picking up the grass for about an hour when the football would start.

While talking to BBC, his first coach, Phil Wooldridge, recalled the moment when he first met Jude at the age of four.

"As soon as you put a football, he was not interested," he said. It was a matter of few months, but when he clicked for him, there was no stopping him, he added.

It suddenly clicked and got the bug when he was around six then he started wanting loads of kits and playing football became all he ever wanted to do.

His father was his first coach but he never put extra pressure on him and always told him to have fun and try his best.

According to Jude, if his father hadn't been a footballer, he would probably never have gotten into the sport because there was nothing that motivated him to play at the start.

When he played for Stourbridge, the Birmingham City scouts watched him play and soon invited him to their academy.

His impressive performance led him to train with the senior team when he was still at school.

He was 16 years and 38 days old when he made his debut in 2019

He then joined Borussia Dortmund in July 2020 and became the youngest scorer in his first appearance. He joined Real Madrid in 2023
