After dating for some time, things did not work out for both of them, and they eventually broke up.

She broke the news of her break up through a live Instagram video on February 2020. 

Doja also said that even they spilled, she is in good terms with her ex. 

She added that she does not like to keep tabs on her ex on social media, so she has unfollowed him.

Video of Doja Cat being in public chat started to surface where Doja was being racist and laughing at racist jokes. 

Doja had previously mentioned in an interview about being part of online chatrooms. 

Her song “DinduNuffin from 2015 also surfaced online, which has mocked black people who have lost their life from police brutality. 

Later Doja herself addressed the rumor through her Instagram, saying that she used chat room sites when she was a kid to socialize and never had any racist conversation. 

She claimed that she is a black woman and half of her family is black from South Africa, and she is very proud of where she came from. 

She denied the rumor of being part of a racist comment on the online chat room.
