Davorka Dalic

Davorka Dalic is the wife of a Croatian professional football manager and former player, Zlatko Dalic. Davorka is a graduate economist. She doesn’t like to be in front of the camera and media much. 

Zlatko is one of the most well-known people in Croatia. He is currently the football manager of the Croatian national football team. He started out as a football player. 

He had also played for many teams in Croatia and became an inspiration for many youths who are planning to take football as their career. 

He started his career in the football field professionally in the year 1983 and has never looked back.

Marriage

Davorka has been married to Zlatko for a long time now. The couple got married in 1992 and has been together since then. They have two children together named Toni and Bruno Dalic. 

Toni has become an IT engineer and also works as a part-time DJ. Bruno is currently studying management at an American university in the capital of Croatia.

The career sacrifice

Davorka sacrificed her entire career for her family. 

When Zlatko was building his career in football, Davorka also started to work as a salesperson in a company called “Varteks,” and when she gave birth to Toni, their eldest son. 

As time passed it became difficult for Toni to stay in kindergarden when his parents went to work. So, Davorta decided to leave her job, be there for her son, and dedicate her time to her child. 

When Zlatko had just signed a contract with Hajduk and moved to Split, Davorka gave birth to their second child Bruno. 

After that, it became more difficult for Davorka, but the love she had for her family helped her, and she managed to do fine. 

The situation got worse when Zlatko was in UAE and Saudi Arabia for seven years. He was there to be the coach of Al Fasali. 

It was hard, but Davorka gave her everything to raise their children and make them the good people that they are today.

Zlatko even mentioned his wife and her sacrifices for the family and mentioned how grateful he is towards his wife, Davorka. 

He also mentioned how it is because of her sacrifices and hard work that he has reached this position.

The 25 years

Zlatko and Davorka reached the “silver-feast” of their marriage which is the 25 years of their marriage in 2017 and celebrated it with their family, friends, and relatives. 

They have never failed to show their love for each other even after 25 years of marriage. 

Property near Drava

The Dalic family has a property near Drava where they spent their free time relaxing and be away from work for some time. 

They also host celebrations and gatherings where they invite their friends, family, relatives, and more. 

They have also started to welcome journalists and other media personalities or people from Croatian public life in the property after Croatia had won second place in the FIFA world cup 2018, held in Russia.
