Damaris Sanders is famous as a celebrity spouse of a World wrestling champion, Adeline Gray. 

She has the record of winning five world champions back to back since Tricia Saunders in 1999 and is the first American wrestler to win five world titles to date.

A wedding proposal

Damaris had made a plan to propose Adeline in Brazil after she wins the 2016 Olympics, as everyone had predicted her win. 

But unfortunately, she missed it. Since Damaris did not have any backup plan, he ended up proposing to her where he was stationed at. 

At the time, he was stationed at Louisiana Fort Polk. They spent a weekend in the cabin where one day, during an evening walk, he popped out the question at the side of the big lake of Louisiana Fort Polk.
