Crosby Reid is famous for being the daughter of NFL head coach Andy Reid. He is the head coach for the Kansas City Chiefs. Crosby sang the national anthem in 2015 before the game against Los Angeles Chargers.

Andy‘s first Super Bowl

Andy’s 22nd career victory with his first Super bowl was a tribute to his late son Garrett. She is survived by two other brothers Britt Reid and Spencer Reid, and her sister Drew Ann Reid. 

Her brother Britt is the Chiefs outside linebackers coach. Her youngest brother Spencer is an Assistant Strength and conditioning coach under coach Steve Addazio. Spencer is married to his wife, Maggie Reid. 

Her sister Drew Ann is happily married to her husband, Devin Woodhouse. They are in marital bliss since 2013. According to the sources, each of her siblings was born in different states.

One more tragedy just days before the face-off

The family went through one more tragedy just days before the face-off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Super bowl LV after Britt was involved in a multi-car crash. 

The accident occurred on February 4, 2021, in Kansas City.  A five-year-old child was critically injured in the aftermath of the crash. 

He was driving a car that hit two vehicles that were on the offside of an on-ramp. He smelled alcohol, and his eyes were also bloodshot, according to the report. 

Britt was sentenced to prison in 2007 for pointing a handgun at another driver. Britt is married to his wife, Kristen Reid. The couple shares three children.

Isn't Andy retiring soon?

In his recent interview, Andy shared that he still has that drive and passion for the games and that same excitement for a new season. 

It is stated that he isn't going anywhere. 

Everyone knows he had entered his 24th year as an NFL head coach, and many audiences around had even thought that this could be an end to his career. 

However, his recent interview with the NFL on SiriusXM Radio claims this might not be the case. 

Andy, in his interview, stated that 

I still get to that Fourth of July, and the juices start going. You are going, Man, I can't wait to get back. 

We all are aware of how Andy seems to have that flat tone in most of his appearances during the press conference. 

But surprisingly, he was energized, friendly and cheerful during his radio appearance. 

Not only this, Andy joked during his interview, stating that if one day he is unable to get up from his blue beach chair during the off-season, then only he could call it a career. 

People around had come up with the name of Patrick Mahomes, a young superstar, as a motivation for Andy to keep him going. 

Everyone knows he had served hard for whole two decades, which led him to win his first ever Super Bowl back in 2019. 

He added that he is just hungrier for more titles ahead. Andy says that he put his Jordans on and his Air Force 1s on and is all set and ready to go ahead. 

There are other coaches at the NFL Hall of Fame who have stuck in the league for longer than Reid. 

Among them, George Halas is said to have the longest tenure as NFL head coach, having a career of 40 years. 

In August 2020, Brett Veach, who is known as the general manager, and Andy extended through the year 2025. 

It means that if Andy wanted to be around a long time, i.e., until Mahomes's second contract, he has to stick around till the year 2031.
