His father is the key to his success, and he is trying to repay as much as he can 

Born in Wythenshawe, Manchester, Palmer was raised by a dental engineer father, Jermaine, and a dyslexia assessor mother, Marie Palmer, alongside his two elder sisters. 

His father played Sunday League football for nearly two decades. He grew up watching his father, and that was when he developed a love for football. 

Palmer says if he didn't have his dad, he probably wouldn't be a footballer, explaining he spent numerous hours with him every night, working with him to try to make him a professional footballer. 

For his sacrifices, he is trying to repay him as much as he can, he said.

Palmer compares his father to Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola but doesn't like admitting to him. 

"I don't like admitting it to him, but Dad taught me everything about football growing up. He was Pep before I met Pep", he said.

He is of Caribbean heritage

Palmer is of Caribbean heritage. His paternal grandfather, Sterry Cole, revealed in an interview that his side of the family is from Saint Kitts and Nevis. 

He said that his parents moved to England in 1955 for better opportunities, leaving him and his older brother behind in Basseterre, after which they lived with their grandmother and aunties. 

He and his brother finally met their parents in England in 1960 after a two-week voyage to Southampton. 

After that, they took a train to their new home in Moss Side, Manchester. He met his three younger brothers for the first time. 

His parents went on to have two more, a son and a daughter, so out of his six siblings, he and St Clair were born in the Caribbean.

Palmer confessed to never wanting to leave Manchester City 

Palmer was a United fan growing up but City offered the better set-up, they had the better training facilities. 

He joined the City's academy at the age of eight and made his senior debut for the club in 2020. In 2023, he left City and joined Chelsea for a fee of £40 million.

During an interview with Sky Sports, Palmer said he never wanted to leave Manchester City permanently and it was not his intention as he was hoping to go on loan for a year and return and be ready for the first team. 

But the thing was that they gave him only two options either to stay or he gets sold. Then Chelsea called him up, and he said he wanted to go for Chelsea.

Pep, on the other hand, revealed to BBC Sports that he never wanted Palmer to leave in the first place. 

According to him, Palmer was asking for two seasons to leave, and he asked him to stay. 

He asked him not to leave because Riyad Mahrez was gone for two seasons but Palmer wanted to leave. 

Describing him as an exceptional player, a shy guy with a lot of potential, Pep said, "I didn't give the minutes that maybe he deserved, and now he has at Chelsea. He is playing fantastic; what can I say? The decision has been made for many reasons."

Who is his girlfriend?

Palmer as a person is very private. It is yet to know if he has a girlfriend or not. 

Back in December, he clicked a picture with OnlyFans star Astrid Wett, who is a Chelsea fan. 

The picture went viral after she updated the picture on her X (Twitter). 

The Chelsea supporters were not happy with him posing with Wett, who was recently slammed for turning up to their 4-4 draw with Manchester City in a unique half-and-half shirt.
