CleRenda McGrady rose to fame as a celebrity spouse of former seven-time NBA All-star, two-time NBA scoring champion, seven-time All-NBA selection, and NBA Hall of Fame Tracy McGrady. of 

Besides that, CleRenda has established her name on her own as a best-selling author, inspirational speaker, life coach, and philanthropist.

The couple dated for a decade before finally tying a knot on September 12, 2006, in Los Cabos, Mexico, officiated by the former senior pastor of Windsor Village Methodist Church, Kirbyjon Caldwell.

Their son Laymen was born during a home game in Houston, due to which Tracy left the game to be with his wife and son. 

The eldest daughter Layla is 18 years old, and son Laymen is 15, another daughter Laycee is 13, and the youngest son Layden is 11 years old.  

They are currently in 12th, 9th, 7th, and 6th grade, respectively.

Tracy compares having his first shoe with the feeling a kid has when he is in the candy store and points it as crazy.

He mentioned saying that he took him back to when he was a kid and he had the pennies. 

Tracy says he was wearing the guy shoes he idolized when he was a kid, and now, being that dude that’s about to have his own signature shoe, he shared that he can’t even put it in words claiming it is a great feeling. 

It’s not just the kid having his shoes on, but that kid appreciates the work that Tracy is doing on the basketball court. 

Tracy remembers sitting in his house with the designer, and they were just going through some ideas and were talking about the shell toes run, DMC shell toes. 

They came up with the idea of doing something different, and they just kept and wanted to use that because he just loves shell toes. 

However, he said that later it hurt his feet, but he loved wearing them once, and later they brought back the latest version, which made him say that it was dope. 

He also recalls sitting in his living room and going over sketches of what it would look like, and lastly, they came up with something which Tracy approved. 

Tracy admitted that when he slipped into that shoes, he felt empowered and like his superhero shield.

Tracy, “Younger generation don’t have patience”?

Tracy shared that now generation people don’t have the patience to sit down and watch a full game of NBA or even college games. 

Moreover, they all will head into BallisLife, short-form content, etc. Tracy mentioned the main motive of their Ones Basketball Association is to offer what this generation wanted. 

He also includes having a digital and social presence. He also mentioned having the major players there. And also stated that this is what the kids will identify and focus towards. 

They basically don’t care if one scores 40 points, but it can be a player who scores 5, as that player might be the one who made a fall with a crossover, and these kids go crazy for them.
