Claude Deschamps

Claude Deschamps is famous as the spouse of French Football manager and a former player, Didier Deschamps. 

Claude is from Concarneau, a town in Finistere, and is two years older than her husband. She is of Breton origin. 

She was with Didier from the starting phase of his career and is considered a strong woman behind her husband's success who has managed to keep him on the right track. 

Didier is the manager of the France national team. He has been with the team since July 8, 2012.

How did she met her husband?

She met her husband in Nantes in 1986. She was 20 at the time and was studying speech therapy at the time. While Didier,18, was playing in Nantes.

The legendary player and manager Didier has lifted the World Cup Trophy twice. He lifted the first trophy as the captain of the French team in 1998. 

The second time he led the team to the World Cup victory as a manager in 2018. To date, there are only three players who have won the World Cup, both as a player and a manager. 

They are Mario Zagallo in 1958 as a player, and in 1962 as a manager, Franz Beckenbauer in 1974 as a player and 1990 as a manager, and the third is Didier.

He is currently in a relationship with Mathilde Cappelaere. Both of them graduated from the same business school.
