Cissy Lynn is well known for being the daughter of the late American singer and songwriter Loretta Lynn. 

Cissy was born on April 7, 1952, in Butcher Hollow, United States. She is a country music singer and songwriter. 

She was known for her album “The Daughter of the Coal Miner’s Daughter.” She has also sung other songs, including “Lonesome Town” and “I Know How.” 

She is also known by the name Clara Marie Lynn.

Cissy was born to her father, Oliver Lynn, and mother, Loretta Lynn. The couple married each other on January 10, 1948. 

They met each other at a pie social when Oliver was 21 years old, and his wife was 15 years old. 

The couple used to work together in their professional life with different responsibilities. 

Does Cissy have any siblings?

Cissy has five siblings where two of them are brothers, and three are sisters. 

The brothers were named Jack Benny Lynn (born December 7, 1949) and Ernest Ray Lynn (born May 27, 1954). 

Jack is no more as he died on July 22, 1984, after getting drowned in Duck River while crossing it on horseback. 

Ernest had pursued his career in music like his mother. He used to be seen along with Loretta as a band member.

About Cissy’s father, Oliver

Oliver was born on August 27, 1926. He was a talent manager and country music figure by profession. 

He is no more, as he died at the age of 69 due to diabetes-related health problems.

In an interview with TODAY, the twin daughters Peggy and Patsy were asked how they were doing just after some months after their mother Loretta’s death. 

They said that they’re okay and one kind of has to go through these motions and journey of that. 

The daughter said you know, there’s just watching that, and there’s a part of it that brings a smile and a part of it that brings a tear. 

The daughter even honored their mother on the occasion of Mother's Day by making banana pudding at home, which was Loretta’s favorite. 

Loretta’s second last album, “Wouldn’t It Be Great,” was for her late husband.

In an interview, Loretta had told that every song she has written was recorded by her because it’s her life, and she wrote about her life. 

She revealed that her album “Wouldn’t It Be Great” means so important to her because it was the last song that she had sung to her husband that she wrote before he passed away. 

The actress said it was one of her favorites of all time she has ever written.
