Christopher Nkunku is a French-born professional footballer who plays for Bundesliga club RB Leipzig and the France national team as a midfielder.
Nkunku was born in Lagny-sur-Marne to Congolese parents.

Football is the sport of Nkunku's family. He grew up watching his father and older brother play football, which was how he got into football.
Whenever he misbehaved, his father would tell him he could go to school but not to training which helped young Nkunku to work on it from the right age.
He was just six years old when he started playing football with AS Marolles.
With a dream of playing for a big club, he gave a trial with Lens, Le Havre, and Monaco but all three of them turned him down because of being too young and light.
At 12, he joined Fontainebleau youth academy.
