She later explained in detail to her fans her ethnicity, as the answer she gave before might confuse them. 

She said having a Japanese grandfather and a Creole/Dominican grandmom on her mother’s side, and both her dad’s parents are black and white, so claiming her DNA is 25% Asian, 34% European, and 33% African.
