Chloe Frances Cockburn

Chloe Frances Cockburn is famous as the sister of an Award-winning actress and filmmaker, Olivia Wilde, who is best known for her character in the medical series House. 

Chloe has a journalist degree from Harvard Law School and is currently working as a civil rights attorney.  

Before leading an Open Philanthropy as a program officer of criminal justice, she worked with Vera Institute and the civil rights Law Firm of Neufeld, Scheck, and Brustin.

She was born to her parents, Andrew Cockburn and Leslie Corkhill Redlich, both well-known journalists. 

Her father has written several articles and books based on national security. 

He is also a producer of several documentary films. 

On the other hand, as an American investigative journalist and filmmaker, her mother has won several awards, including the Emmy. 

She ran for the US Election in 2018, representing  Virginia’s 5th Congressional district but was defeated by opponent Denver Lee Riggleman III. 

Together, her parents produced a documentary on the financial crisis of 2007-2008 under the name American Casino and have co-authored several books.

She has two siblings 

Chloe is the eldest daughter in the family. 

Her two siblings, sister Olivia Wilde, and brother Charlie Philip Cockburn are five and fourteen years younger than her. 

They grew up in Washington, DC. Her sister Olivia was married to Italian filmmaker and musician Tao Ruspoli at the age of 19. 

The wedding that took place in 2003 ended with divorce in 2011. 

She began dating Saturday Night Live star Jason Sudeikis and got engaged in early 2013. 

The couple shares two children, a son Otis and a daughter, Daisy.

Their both uncles Alexander Cockburn and Patrick Cockburn, are journalists.
