Chloe Dygert

Chloe Dygert is a renowned professional racing cyclist. She currently rides for the UCI Women's WorldTeam Canyon–SRAM. 

She was born and raised in Brownsburg, Indiana, United States. Her nationality is American. She is a beautiful and extroverted kind of person.

Chloe is a very dedicated, hardworking and successful cyclist. She is known for her excellent cycling skills. 

She has won many competitions and championships, including seven gold medals at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships and a silver medal at the Olympic Games. 

Chloe then went on and won the Women's junior road race and also won the Women's junior time trial at the 2015 UCI Road World Championships.

Even though the couple has gone their separate ways, Chloe had his surname "Owen" in her name for quite sometime.

How did she get into cycling?

Chloe was never interested in cycling in the past, and she was more into being a runner and her number one inspiration was Steve Prefontaine. 

She was in her way, but all of that stopped when she was 11 and started to develop injuries in her leg, and she couldn't take running as her career anymore. 

But her father didn't give up on her just yet as he was the one who recognized her abilities first and motivated her to start cycling. 

She didn't like it at first, and it was also quite challenging for her at the beginning. 

But she was bribed by her father that he would buy her a pair of Oakley sunglasses if she won her first competition in cycling. 

She then participated in the 15-16 junior women's category at the national championships in Madison, Wisconsin. 

She came third in that race, and her journey in the field started from there.

The public apology:

Chloe had to apologize after her disturbing acts seen by everyone publicly. 

Her likes of posts in her social media accounts were mainly racist and transphobic, which caused a lot of backlashes. 

A cycling brand called Rapha even said that her apology was not enough and she didn't deserve to be in the cycling field anymore, but she cleared that her intentions were not that.
