Chasey Calaway is famous as the daughter of a retired professional wrestler Mark Calaway who is best recognized by his ring name, The Undertaker

Chasey is the second-born child of Mark. She was born with his second wife, Sara. Chasey describes herself as a total tomboy.

Who are her parents?

Chasey Calaway was born to her father, Mark and mother, Sara Frank. Her mother, Sara Calaway, a professional wrestling valet and a one-time wrestler, served as a valet for her ex-husband Mark

After serving as a valet from 2001 to 2002, she served as a manager, managing the tag team partners.

However, after seven years of marriage, they called it quits. Her parents have moved on and are currently living their lives with their respective partners.

What led to their divorce?

Mark and Sara first crossed the path in San Diego, California, at the autograph session of WWF, which is now WWE

They eventually fell in love and started dating before getting married on Sara’s 23rd birthday in 2000

Their relationship was going smoothly. Mark had even tattooed Sara’s name as an anniversary gift to her.

According to the sources, Mark was having an affair with his now-wife Michelle McCool, which might be the reason behind their divorce.

Michelle is a former WWE superstar. She is twice the Divas champion. Mark and Michelle tied their wedding knot in 2010 and gave birth to their daughter Kaia in 2012

It was a tragedy for the kids to see their parents split, and it is never easy to move on. Things have settled now, though, and Chasey is living a wonderful life.

Life after retirement

His thirty years of professional wrestling career, from the 22nd of November 1990 to the 22nd of November 2020, has led him to win three times world heavyweight champion, a six-time tag team title, and a Royal Rumble

Those incredible achievements were not a cakewalk. It was through his hard work along with physical and emotional pain.

Throughout the years, he endured pains, several bumps, and bruises and underwent major surgeries which were hurting not for him but also for his family.

After his retirement, he has become a complete family man. According to Mark, he spent his whole time-evolving around the business.

His whole time was focused on his business, so it took him a while to learn to shift his focus from business to family, which is much more important than business.

He confesses being much happier to be present the whole time with family. He and his spouse Michelle and daughter Kaia reside in Austin, Texas.

Why did her dad take eight-nine months of vacation?

Her dad shared that he had to get away for a little while as the man suffered from a few injuries that he needed to get mended up.

He got a severe groin pull abdomen strain, and he had that about knocked out and then about ten days before he was about to come back to his work in February.

But he was in the gym training, and he tore his PEC, so he had to have that surgically put back together, which took another four months.

So, it ended up being eight to nine months of vacation, Undertaker shared.

His journey from College hoops to Pro Wrestling

Back then, Undertaker was offered an opportunity by a European scout to play professional basketball in France

However, at that time, he chose wrestling instead of hoops. No doubt, his move surprised his teammates and a coach.

He was recognized as a basketball big man; however, he was gifted to be a wrestler. In the year 1983, Undertaker graduated from Houston’s Waltrip High School

During his high school days, he actively played well enough to get attention from Angelina College situated in Lufkin, Texas

He then would play for Tommy Collins at St. Thomas, located in Houston. Sadly, that school later dropped its hoops program before the 1985-86 season.

It’s said that Collin told scouts and other coaches to visit to see his children’s play. Later, coach Richard Hoogendoorn accepted the invitation to come.

Hoogendoorn was in search of a postman. Nevertheless, Undertaker’s physique, strength, and touch on the ball impressed Hoogendoorn to recruit the Undertaker

Moreover, after that, Undertaker began for the NCAA Division II school, where he wore Number 33 as he got patrolled in paint.

Hoogendoorn claimed Undertaker simply as a large human being. Other than that, Undertaker was not a morning person, he said.

Also, off the court, Undertaker was a jokester. Later, when he joined wrestling too, he didn’t only watch it but tried to recreate it too.

Hoogendoorn also takes his decision as the right choice.
