In March 2019, she and her daughter hid in the bathroom when the masked burglars attacked them. 

The burglars got inside the house at 2 am. They were terrified as the thieves showed torches in their eyes. 

They immediately locked themselves in the bathroom. 

The thieves took away trophies won by her husband during his three years at Celtic. 

One of her neighbors said that they were woken up by the sound of the dogs barking. 

Another neighbor said that the burglars might have attacked the house because they thought that the house was empty or there were only two people at the time.

When her husband Rodger was asked why he was not on social media, he said of him being a very private person.

He grew up seeing the struggles his parents faced when they relied on others which became his driving force, and from then, he was determined that whatever happens in his life, he was going to create it. 

His dream of becoming a successful player was halted because of injury, so he created a life in coaching. 

He also discussed the incident which took after he left Liverpool. He was in Dubai, where he feared he was having a heart attack and thought his mother’s situation might have come over him. 

His mother died suddenly of a heart attack. He was then rushed to hospital, and it was a reaction to the body, the tightening of everywhere in and around his chest. 

In terms of not having the pressure, it was starting to condition itself and eventually made him sit up. Rodgers confessed to learning to deal with pressures and with attention.
