The couple welcomed their son Jaxson in April 2016, almost a year after they got engaged in June 2015

Mitchell, in an interview, said there was no better feeling than welcoming your child into the world.

He also expressed how the birth of his son changed his priorities completely.

Mitchell has tattooed his arm with the name of his son because he would like to see his son as the main part of his motivation.

She has seen her husband just two months in almost two years

Driven by passion, Mitchell has not been there with Charlotte and the kids very much.

In almost two years at Fagiano, Okayama, he has been able to see his family in just two months.

He also missed his youngest daughter’s first words, potty training, and walking on her own, and it felt brutal not being able to see all those admitting that those times can’t get back.

He penned a heartfelt message via his Instagram posting the cute little picture of his two kids, saying that the toughest year of his life for many reasons, and one of them was missing his two perfect little humans growing up for the best part of almost two years.

But at the same time, he says he is doing it for those who are the motivation source.

So, if he is not doing well, he will be regretting while looking back at the same time, thinking why he spent all that time when it was for nothing he said.

Mitchell also makes sure that he uses this time wisely by enjoying the ride and, at the same time, making sure that the ride can look after him and those he loves.

It’s family who stays forever but not football because people forget after you retire, so enjoy when you play it, but use it to set your family up, he says.

Last opportunity to play at a World Cup

Mitchell is playing for Australia in the World Cup 2022 in Qatar, and playing for the national team means a lot to him.

In an interview with ABC, he said that the World Cup is one of the biggest highs in football, and for him playing in the biggest tournament at the age of 31 is the last opportunity to prove himself.

The opportunity to appear in International was limited for Mitchell. He had a six-year gap between his International appearances.

He made his debut under Holger Osieck and played a few caps, and then after the arrival of Ange Postecogou, he didn’t get the opportunities.

He didn’t get the opportunities with Bert van Marwijk either. He was given a chance after Graham Arnold came in.

As soon as he was able to put that green and gold jersey back on, he didn’t want to lose that opportunity ever again, he added.

But since he had already fallen in love with soccer, he decided to choose football over cricket and to continue going with it.

Mitchell is one of nine kids born in a middle-class household.

It was quite a tough year for him as he had to juggle three jobs to get an income the support his family.

Because of this, he was close to giving up his career and started an apprenticeship mission before he got his professional contract at 21.
