Announcement of Her Arrival

The announcement of her arrival was made by her father on March 12, 2009

The big news was announced through his website

They were happy to let family and friends know that a new member would join them soon.

The excitement level was high for everyone. 

Four months after the announcement, they were blessed with twin girls, which surprised everyone. 

The twins were named Charlene and Myla

Her First Picture

On August 7, 2009, fans got to see the first picture of her and her twin sister

Her grandfather clicked the family picture. 

It took some time to take a decent picture as the twin girls were having hiccups

Her First Birthday

First birthdays are always special, and this was no exception for the twin sisters.

Their father posted pictures of the cake and their little hands. 

He wrote on his website that they were staying in Switzerland at that time.

A birthday party was hosted for them. They received gifts and cards from family and fans of their father.  

Her Siblings

Excluding Myla, she has two other two siblings. They, too, are twins. Her brothers, namely Lenny and Leo, were born in May 2014

All four kids are learning from home school. They can speak three languages, namely Swiss, English and German

They accompany their father on tour. They cheer for him. They have even started learning basic tennis

The two sets of twins were there to support him during Wimbledon in July 2017.

The boys were only three, so they did not have any idea about the event

They just thought that it was a nice playground

On the other hand, the girls had a little idea about the game. 

They enjoyed watching him play, and were excited to cheer for him. 

Roger's takes on the next generation of players

The audience recognizes Roger as the best ambassador of Tennis. Undoubtedly, Roger, Nadal, and Novak had achieved Grand Slam numerous times. 

When asked that the new upcoming generation is only winning one and later struggling to win one and then two Grand Slams, how tougher will it be for them to get to this level? 

No doubt, they three had already set the bar high for these upcoming generations; how tough was it for them to get to this level and keep maintaining that for numerous years? 

Roger said it was tough for them because the upcoming generations will always be compared to Roger’s generations. 

He shared that some people out there call their generation the golden one, the three of them. And also later added Murray and Wawrinka to it. 

He accepted the fact that they had won so much to date. 

And also, Roger says that the major problem for this new generation is that he, Novak, and Rafa that they cannot play any different, any more different. 

He explained that if you beat Roger, then you can’t beat Novak, and if you beat Novak, then you cannot beat Rafa

And again, if you beat Rafa, you can’t beat Roger. He then shared that if you do win a Grand Slam, then later the new player of the young generation but can’t beat one of us. 

Obviously, the media people and fans won’t give them credit and appreciation they deserve, which Roger claims is wrong. 

Roger elaborated that it is difficult for the younger generation too for mentally keep on believing the fact that they will break through. 

And if they break through, they will again get another one. Roger explains that it is totally tough to confirm after winning a Grand Slam to do it again. 

He recalls that he, Rafa, and Novak have been in that situation numerous times. However, they were able to do it. 

Lastly, Roger says it is tough, but he also praised that the younger generation is doing a great job out there. 

He also shared that many of them also had won the World Tour Finals
