Celia Jaunat

Celia Jaunat is the beautiful spouse of Polish-born professional footballer Grzegorz Krychowiak. Grzegorz is currently on loan from Krasnodar.

A beautiful love story 

Celia was 19 when she met Grzegorz in 2010. They started dating two years later and have been together since then. It was love at first sight for both of them. 

Celia, back then, was studying in Bordeaux while Grzegorz was playing on loan for Reims and then Nantes from Bordeaux. 

At the time, they got to see each other only on weekends, and when Celia graduated from the University, the couple realized they could no longer live apart, so Celia moved in with Grzegorz. 

In an interview back in 2018, Celia recalled her first meeting with Grzegorz. She said she and Grzegorz were like a good old marriage. 

At the time, she was studying management and marketing in her hometown Bordeaux. 

At the time, she spent half of the week at the University and the other half of the week in professional experience. 

She worked in the showroom of a company that traded bathroom fittings. 

She later became an assistant manager of the company, and luckily Grzegorz was her client who wanted to purchase tiles for his apartment.

When she first saw him, the only thing that ran through her head was how beautiful he was. 

She said he didn’t notice her initially because she was behind the desk, so to get noticed, she walked to the living room and pretended like she was writing something. 

Then he went up to her and said Bonjour Mademoiselle (Hello Miss), and she fell for his French accent. 

Likewise, Grzegorz also said when he first saw her, he found her attractive and tall and was charmed by her openness, kindness, and flirtatious manner of conversation. 

He then asked for her number, and the next day, he called her.

Celia was invited to dinner, but she refused because her parents did not allow her at the time to meet someone whom she had just met, so she met him in the afternoon on the terrace of some café. 

Celia said she didn’t know that he was a footballer because he had told her that he was a student like her, and she believed that until he later revealed that he was a young footballer who dreamt of becoming a professional. 

She initially thought he thought young boys get fascinated by football and dream of becoming a footballer but fail, and then he gets over it, but she realized how he treats football and how passionate he is. 

She said Grzegorz treats football as a part of life, a passion, and a profession. Celia accompanied him throughout his career. 

She has seen her husband rising from the bottom.

A civil wedding ceremony 

Grzegorz proposed to Celia during a Christmas holiday in Bora-Bora in 2017. 

They walked down the aisle two years later on Christmas Eve of 2019 in a civil wedding ceremony. 

The wedding took place in Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar resort in Oman. 

Celia took her Instagram to share they are officially married, sharing a photo of themselves. Celia wore a white suit instead of a wedding gown. 

She later showed the shimmering white wedding gown she wore on her big day with the caption ”wedding in magical place which took place in Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar resort in Oman. 

The couple is currently busy in their respective careers. They are yet to become parents.

Runs a boutique 

Grzegorz is also into business. He runs a boutique with his brother. 

In 2020, he shared via his Instagram about opening their second boutique Balamont, a clothing brand based in Poznan. 

Celia supports her husband in his business and says she is proud of him.
