How she reacted for the first time after knowing about her father’s disease 

Her father revealed being HIV positive while talking to TODAY’s Matt Lauer in 2015. 

During the interview, he also revealed knowing about the disease four years before admitting it and spending more than $10 million to suppress his HIV stories. 

He also talked about how he confronted his disease with Cassandra. According to him, he told Casandra the other night and felt bad for her because it hit her hard at the time. 

But then she recovered as she is tough like her dad. 

He also said he apologised to Cassandra for not letting her know about the disease sooner because, at the time, it seemed like she couldn’t do anything for him, and he didn’t want to burden her with stress. 

Cassandra was rock-star about it, he further added. Charlie also revealed one of his few regrets. 

He said not using condoms once or twice after contracting HIV, ruining Two and a Half Man, and not being more involved in his children’s lives growing up are some of his regrets.

While appearing in Loose Women in 2019, he opened up about how he overcame his d*ug addiction and how and celebrated above one year of sobriety. 

During the same talk show, he recalled confronting all of his kids about being HIV positive before he went to television with it. 

He said his oldest daughter Cassandra was the one who took the hardest among all of his kids, but he reassured her with all the medical technologies and the progress her father had been doing. 

He reassured her, saying that her father would be fine.

The reason behind moving out was reported to be her mother’s rules which she didn’t like. She later posted a happy video, writing, 

now: finally moved out of the hell house, had a spiritual awakening own two cats, happily single, full of self-love, and dropped out of the school. 

It was later confirmed that she moved out from her family home to live with her father, and Sheen, via his representative, said that Sam is amazing and he loves her and all his children unconditionally and is having a ball. 

Her dad picked Baseball over acting?

Charlie was captured in the event of California Strong. When asked how did he become involved in it? The actor replied that he had lived in Malibu for centuries.

An acting career at a young age

Charlie began his acting career when he was just nine years old. Nevertheless, he got an opportunity and debuted in a lead role in Red Dawn in 1984. 

Well, the actor got his first-ever significant role in the year 2000. There, he replaced Michael J. Fox and was also able to grab the Golden Globe award. 

Sadly, he was fired from the show “Two and a Half Men.” The reason behind it was due to the substance abuse and altercation with production staff as well.

The reason her father doesn’t go by his real name

Her father was born Carlos Estevez, but he opted to follow in his father’s footsteps, who changed his name to Martin Sheen. 

The Emmy award-winning actor Martin was born Ramon Estevez, but he decided to change it after his name became the reason to get refused in getting roles on the stage. 

During an interview with hudsonunionsociety, Martin revealed the reason behind changing his name though he loves his name. 

According to Martin, when he came to New York in 1959, there was a prejudice against Hispanics, largely against the Puerto Rican community, which he adored, and he felt very much a part of the Hispanic community.

Still, because of his look, they were telling him Irish. 

Back in 2011, he told Guardian with his real name, he realized his dream of acting would never be fulfilled because they could not pronounce his name and his name kept throwing people. 

So to not get bogged down with his name, he invented Martin Sheen. 

For his name, he combined the name of two people whom he found Inspirational, and they were CBS casting director and the Catholic televangelist archbishop, Fulton J. Sheen.

He thought if that didn’t work, he would change to other and start working with that name. 

But he never changed his name officially; it’s still Ramon Estevez on his passport, driving license, and so forth. 

Among his four children, only Charlie opted to choose his father’s stage surname and anglicized his first name. 

The reason he anglicized his first name to Charlie was because of his uncle Carlos. 

During an interview with Fox News, he said he was tired of getting his name confused with his uncle. They would both respond to the name Carlos, so he changed his name. 

However, with his surname, he has not revealed yet why he opted to go with Sheen. 

For the 2013 film Machete Kills, where he played the US president, he used his birth name to get into the action Latino thriller. It was only in that film he used his birth name.
