In the year 2015, she wore a beanie to raise awareness against brain cancer. She lost her husband to cancer, and she wants to save the lives of people. This was a great initiation by her. She has also launched Carrie's Beanies 4 Brain Cancer, and the main aim raised a whopping 4,200,000. The main objective behind building the fund was for brain cancer research.  
She has also used The Project for raising funds for this brain cancer research. She has already managed to raise over 1,000,000 Australian Dollars selling beanies...
