Carol Wells Paul is a homemaker and best known as a wife of an Author, Physician, retired Congressman, and three times Presidential candidate Ron Paul.

In 2020, the beautiful pair celebrated its 63rd wedding anniversary.  Carol is quite lucky that she is spending long blissful married life with her husband.

Carol and Ron Paul got married on 1 February 1957 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. 

Around 300 guests attended their wedding. Carol wore a white gown with a bouffant tulle skirt, and Ron was in a black tux and white tie on their wedding day.

The reception was held at the Dormont New Century Club. The newlywed dance in their favorite songs that day. They had a four-tiered wedding cake. 

The wedding ceremony was lavish.

On their marriage, Carol's age was 20, and Ron was 21 years old.

They met each other in high school. They became a partner by the initiation of Carol herself.

He earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Duke University's School of Medicine in 1961. He served as a flight surgeon in U.S. Air Force from 1963 to 1965. 

He served as U.S Representative for Texas's 22nd congressional district from 1976 to 1977 and 1979 to 1985 and Texas's 14th congressional district from 1997 to 2013. 

Currently, he lives with Carol in Lake Jackson, Texas. The couple is blessed with eighteen grandchildren.

In 2007, she had gone through serious surgery in Iowa. At that time, the doctor installed a pacemaker in her heart. 

She was hospitalized in the hospital of Houston in intensive care while campaigning with her husband. 

She was admitted after having shortness of breath and low blood pressure. Later she recovered well.
