Candy-rae Fleur

Candy-rae Fleur is the stunning wife of a Dutch professional footballer, Daley Blind, who is a defensive midfielder at Ajax and the Netherlands national team. 

Candy is a dancer and a model. She is from the Netherlands as well. She graduated in 2007 from Hermann Wesselink College.

Married the man of her dream 

Candy and Daley dated for nearly a decade before walking down the aisle in June 2019. 

The couple first met in Bubbels, Amsterdam, after Daley came from FC Groningen. 

Daley popped the question in Provence, Southern France, in 2018 and took his Instagram to share the news, posting pictures of themselves with the caption:

”My beautiful fiancée.” 

The year 2019 was a double celebration as they vowed to be together forever and also welcomed their first child the same year. 

Mother of two beautiful kids

Candy is the proud mother of her two beautiful kids, a son and a daughter. 

She and her husband, Daley, welcomed their first child, son Lowen Dace on the 1st of October, 2019. 

They were blessed with a baby girl in 2021, whom they named Lemae Lourdes Fiore. 

When Daley was asked in an interview if he and Candy are planning more kids, he replied by saying that they are unsure what comes in the future, but as of now, they are not planning. 

He said they are super happy that they have two healthy kids and they are enjoying a happy life.

She does not like to be called a Wag

Candy does not like being called a Wag. She once said she is not a Wag and doesn’t feel like a player’s girlfriend. It’s the other way around. 

He is a dancer's man, she added. 

While Daley, also during an interview back in 2013 with Cosmopolitan, said that he sees himself as a regular guy and them as a normal couple. 

He also said that as a girlfriend of a player, it is sometimes difficult for Candy because of the lot of attention they get. 

He praised Candy for her immense support and for keeping him grounded.

Her husband does not see himself as a head coach after the end of his playing career

Daley is the son of a versatile former Ajax player and a former Netherlands national team manager, Danny Blind. 

Danny played for Ajax in the successful mid-90s. In his 13 years of playing career for Ajax, he won five Dutch Eredivisie Championships and four national cups. 

Like his father, Daley started his career with his hometown club Ajax. He contributed to the club, winning four consecutive titles with the club. 

Before he returned to his former club Ajax in the summer of 2018, he played for Manchester United for four years, where he contributed to the team winning four trophies.

Daley’s father, Danny, hung up his boots at the age of 37, and Daley is pretty sure that he will play till that age too, but he confessed to not seeing himself as a coach after the end of his career. 

He said he wanted to get his training license and that he is more the assistant-coach type of guy. 

He said being in business does not suit him at all, and he does not think he will be happy sitting at the desk all day long.
