Mark consulted him by saying I am playing Latin music because I like it and ”I am Latin.” Mark continues by telling his children don't know they are Latin.

The duo first met when they were on screentest for All My Children in 1995. They were very attracted to each other from the day they met.
After their casting was final and they started shooting, their love interest grew romantically for each other.
And less than a year of dating, the couple married in Las Vegas in 1996. And they welcomed their three children together.
They have been together for over two decades. Being an actor, their work makes them live far away from each other sometimes.
Mark was filming his show Riverdale in Vancouver, away from his family.
In Jimmy Kimmel Live, when he asked about how he feels living away from his family and especially his wife, Kelly Ripa, he replied by saying,
“I think there are certain men at a certain age, probably shouldn't be left alone to do anything.”
He added, “They burn stuff down.”
He was living alone in Vancouver in a small house where he could flush the toilet while sitting in bed and open the front door and do the laundry.
And his wife was the one who found him the house to stay there.
