Briana Morales is famous as the ex-wife of Mexican-born professional footballer Andres Guardado who is a midfielder for La Liga club Real Betis and is the captain of the Mexico national team.

World Cup 2022 will be Guardado’s last game with the national team

With World Cup 2022 in Qatar, Guardado will be representing Mexico for the fifth time in World Cup, and it will be his last game that will end his career with the national team. 

Guardado confirmed the news stressing that his career has not received much value in his country and highlighting the amount of respect he got while in Europe compared to Mexico. 

He said since he has played his entire career in Europe, he is respected a little more by coaches, colleagues, and the press. 

He thinks they value a lot for what he has done so far and for what he continues to be. 

While with Mexico, he said he feels he is seen as a dinosaur, as if it is not given much value, nor is it something he lets himself be guided by, lead his life or make decisions on. 

“It’s a part of being a player,” he added.
