Brian Wareing is a well-known Southport chef, but he is more famous as the brother of one of the top celebrity chefs, Marcus Wareing.
Brian is a former head chef at Scarisbrick Hotel and a lecturer at Southport College.

Marcus lost one of the Michelin stars in 2019
Award-winning chef Marcus is currently the owner of one Michelin-starred restaurant named Marcus located at the Berkeley in Knightsbridge.
The restaurant was opened in 1999 by Marcus and Gordon Ramsay together and was named after their favorite French wine Petrus.
The fall out between Ramsay and Wareing led Wareing to open his restaurant Marcus Wareing in 2008 at the Berkeley in the space occupied by Petrus after the hotel intended to work with Wareing rather than Ramsay.
