Brenton's cycle crash:

In 2015 when he was on his regular Thursday morning training ride, he got into a cycling crash. 

He got a fracture in the pelvis. In the meantime, he missed his son Rohan's victory in stage 3 at Paracombe. 

Brenton got to know about his son's achievement through a text sent by his friend.  

Brenton was disappointed that he couldn't see his son winning but was happy for his achievement. 

Although he had small cracks in his pelvis, he was discharged from the hospital and was able to see his son at the Hilton Hotel

Rohan Dennis is a professional road racing celebrity cyclist. He was born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia. 

He was born on May 28, 1990. He is the son of Brenton Dennis and Debbie Dennis

He rides for UCI WorldTeam Ineos Grenadiers. He first debuted in the 2013 season in Tour de France from Garmin-Sharp and moved to the BMC racing team in 2014 August, where he stayed for four years. 

He now is performing for team Ineos for the 2020 and onward seasons.

Rohan Dennis was single until he met Melissa Hoskins. Melissa was also a professional cyclist like Rohan.

After they both dated for a certain time, they decided to get engaged.

In May 2017, they got engaged to each other, and Melissa Hoskins announced her retirement from her cycling career as she wanted to spend time in a normal environment and have a normal life.

Melissa was born on February 24, 1991. She was also a professional cyclist. 

In 2012 she won the Tour of Chongming Island. Melissa was a member of the Australian track cycling team Pursuit

She won eight medals, five in women's road cycling and three in UCI Road World Championship. She retired from cycling on May 2, 2017.

Why did Rohan abandon his "Tour de France"?

The two-time world TTT champion Rohan abandoned "Tour de France" because he had some issues with his former team, Bahrain-Merida, in September as it broke promises that were made to him. 

Also, he feared that he would end up divorced from his wife and living alone less than a year after his first child was born. 

He opened up about the mental health struggle behind the abandonment of Tour de France.

In 2018 and 2019, Rohan won UCI men's individual time trial world championships

At the age of 29, he set the world hour record of cycling on February 8, 2015, by traveling 52.491 km

Not only that, but he also won silver medals at the Olympic games held in 2012 in London. 

In addition to that, he won two gold and two silver medals on UCI Track Cycling World Championships in 2010 in Ballerup, 2011 in Apeldoorn, 2009 Pruszkow, 2012 Melbourne, respectively. 

Apart from these, he has also received nine medals in the world championship, including one bronze medal in 2018 in Innsbruck, four silver medals on dates 2012 in Valkenburg, 2014 in Glasgow, 2016 in Doha and 2017 in Bergen, and four gold medals on dates 2018 in Innsbruck, 2019 in Yorkshire, 2014 in Ponferrada and 2015 in Richmond.
