Birgit Kammer

Birgit Kammer is widely recognized as the mother of Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos. Birgit is of German descent.

She is a former professional badminton player. She was ten times GDR champion. She won two GDR singles titles and eight GDR team titles for her home club unit Greifswald.  

As a sports enthusiast, she was influential in passing the same quality to her son. She is currently working as a teacher. She is a biology and sports teacher.

Married life

Birgit is happily married to her husband, Ronald Kroos. The exact date of their marriage is not known, but the couple is still together in a marital bond. 

Ronald is a former professional wrestler and football coach. He worked as a youth coach of Hansa Rostock in a lower league in Germany for several years. The couple is residing in Rostock. 

Mother of her two sons

She is the proud mother of her two stellar sons, who are both professional football players. She gave birth to her elder son Toni on 4th January 1990 at the age of 27.

Her husband is the first coach for their sons. He trained his two sons at Greifswalder SC. He would train them constantly. 

They spent most of their youth playing football. Toni said that his father was 50 percent coach and 50 percent father. 

They would get equal treatment like others and even a bit tougher. He further added that getting trained with his father was excessive and thought it affected the father-son relationship. 

Who is Toni married to?

Toni married his long-term girlfriend Jessica Farber on 13th June 2015 in a lavish ceremony. Toni met his future wife Jessica in Fuerteventura, Canary Islands. 

He was 18, while Jessica was 20 at the time. According to Jessica, it was not love at first sight. They met back in Germany and have been inseparable since then. 

From their union, they share three children, two sons and a daughter.
