Billy Gilmour

Billy Gilmour is a Scottish-born professional football player who plays as a midfielder for Norwich City of Premier League club and the Scotland National team.  

He joined Norwich City on a season-long loan from Chelsea in July 2021. He has made 22 first-team appearances for Chelsea after he arrived in Chelsea in 2017. 

He is a former Ranger star. He has represented his country Scotland from under 15 to under 21 levels.

His father is his role model

Billy was born to his father, Billy Gilmour Sr. and his mother, Carrie Gilmour. Billy considers his father to be his role model whom he looked up to while growing up. 

Billy Gilmour Sr. served with the Royal Navy and played at a junior level for Ardrossan Winton Rovers. He was the first coach to his son and taught him everything about football.

When she was asked to pose with the Norwich City scarf, she hesitated and refused to hold a green part, the color associated with Celtics, and was heard saying that she will be holding a little bit of yellow. 

Bill Sr. further added, saying she does not like that color.

He has a younger sibling

Billy is blessed with a younger brother, Harvey, who is also a football lover. They grew up alongside each other in Ardrossan, North Ayrshire. 

Harvey, 15, is also following his father’s and brother’s footsteps. Besides being famous as a brother of Billy, he is also into making his name. He is currently playing for Kilmarnock’s youth team.
