Benjamin Jones is a professional dancer mainly recognized as the husband of the Strictly Come Dancing professional Amy Dowden.

How did he meet his future wife?
Jones met his future wife Dowden in 2011 through their shared love of passion for dance but kept it behind the curtain for years.
In 2017, they created history by becoming the first all-British pair to win the British National Dance Championship in over three decades.
Jones popped the question the following year. They finally made it happen, walking down the aisle on the 3rd of July, 2022, in a star-studded ceremony.
They had planned to get married in July 2020, but they had to postpone due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dowden said she knew straight away from the moment she held his hand and was completely smitten in the very first dance with him.
It was a proper challenge because he was playing hard to get, and when he finally proposed to her, she went all relaxed, and he had to get hard to get her, she added.

While appearing on Loose Women, she revealed that she discovered the lump on her breast in April, one day before their Maldives Honeymoon.
She knew that it was cancer because her mother had breast cancer. It was picked after a mammogram scan, and she didn’t feel it.

During their honeymoon, she had a gut feeling as she could feel it every day while applying sun tan lotion.
The reason behind not telling him, she said, was if he had known, then they would not have gone for their honeymoon, and she wanted that honeymoon for a break.
She didn’t want anybody to worry until they knew. She later had an ultrasound and had already googled what it looked like.
All of a sudden, there was a breast care nurse with her, and she rang her twin sister and was flooded with tears.
It wasn’t confirmed yet. She told her sister not to say to him because she didn’t want to panic him.
She shared that Jones only got to know after she was asked to bring somebody with her to her second appointment.
She said she could read the breast care nurses who, according to her, are just phenomenal. She was then told by the surgeon she had breast cancer.
And the very first question she was asked was what was her plan for children, and she, in her head, was thinking, what’s Ben thinking?
He has been supporting his wife through her cancer treatment
As a supportive husband, Jones has been alongside his wife from the day he got to know about her disease.
In an interview with Women’s Health UK, Dowden expressed how he has been supporting in her journey.
She told the magazine that he has been through so much with her with her Crohn’s and that she now thinks nothing will ever break them apart.
When she mentions something once, he will buy it, and if it’s a food she wants, he is cooking it, she added.
