Bartina Koeman

Bartina Koeman, a Groningen-born, is a beautiful Dutch actress who is more popular as the wife of Barcelona head coach Ronald Koeman.

A successful, happy marriage for more than three decades

Bartina has been living a successful, happy marriage for more than three decades. The couple married on the 27th of December, 1985.

Her battle with Cancer and metastasis

Bartina was first diagnosed with breast cancer 11 years ago while she was in Portugal. She underwent two years of treatment. 

Her spouse took 18 months break from football to take care of her and their children. 

Again after several years in 2018, she suspected that there was something wrong after she accidentally ran into a glass wall and discovered something strange at her neck. 

She had her MRI scan, from where the radiologist informed her that it was not an ordinary bone but cancer. 

The news shook Bartina, her sister, and her mom to the core and immediately dialed Ronald to share the news. 

A metastasis to her vertebrae was discovered, which was developed due to the type of cancer she had in the past. 

She had to go through six rounds of chemotherapy. During the treatment, she was given an ice cap to prevent hair loss. Bartina won the battle in the end. She is back to normal.

Mother of three grown-up kids

Bartina is the mother of three grown-up kids, Tim 31, Ronald Koeman Jr. 26, and Debbie. Out of her three children, Ronald Jr. is following in his father’s footsteps. 

He is playing for FC Oss as a goalkeeper. Tim works in finance and business while Debbie is helping her run her cosmetic brand as a co-founder. 

Bartina and Ronald are the grandparents of three grandkids, out of which two of them are from her daughter Debbie with her spouse, and one is from his son Tim with his wife, Chloe. 

Ronald considers himself to be the young grandfather of his grandkids and loves to spend time with them.
