Barbara Kaser

Barbara Kaser is the celebrity ex-wife of a retired Swiss football administrator who was the eighth President of the FIFA named Sepp Blatter. Unfortunately, Barbara is no longer among us.

Sepp is a very successful person. He was the President of one of the biggest associations in the world which is FIFA. 

But later, he was banned from taking part in any FIFA activities for eight years which was later reduced to 6 years and later six more years were added. 

He first started this journey on June 8, 1998, and was in the organization until December 21, 2015. He is banned till 2027. 

Marriage

Barbara was married to Sepp till the day she died. Their wedding took place in 1981. They were together for ten years. 

Before Barbara, Sepp was married to Liliane Biner. They also have a daughter together named Corinne. They separated shortly after their daughter was born.

After separating from Liliane, Sepp got married to Barbara, who was the daughter of Helmut Kaser. Helmut was the secretary-general of FIFA.

After the death of Barbara, Sepp started to date Ilona Boguska, a Polish friend of his daughter from the first marriage with Corinne. They broke up in 2002.

Sepp then started to date another friend of his daughter named Graziella Bianca, who worked as a dolphin trainer. They also got married on December 23, 2002, but got divorced in 2004.

Sepp is currently in a domestic partnership with a woman named Linda Barras.

The mismanagement

During Sepp's time as a president at the FIFA, FIFA's secretary-general, Blatter's deputy and former protege Michel Zen-Ruffinen made a 30-page dossier report showing all the mismanagement in the organization, which led up to FIFA's marketing partner a loss of $100 million and Sepp was to blame for. 

It was a huge amount and made a huge deal. The dossier was later handed to Swiss authorities, but they cleared Sepp's name and asked FIFA to pay all the loss and costs. 

Later Blatter held an internal investigation within FIFA as the organization members broke confidentiality agreements which led to letting go of Zen-Ruffinen from the organization. It happened before the 2002 FIFA World Cup. 

Sexual harassment allegation

Sepp was accused of sexual assault by American soccer goalkeeper Hope Solo. 

In an interview with the Portuguese newspaper called Expresso, she said he grabbed her butt at the FIFA Ballon d'Or Award in 2013. 

She told that the two of them were to present the award to Abby Wambach, who is also Hope's teammate. 

She said she was in complete shock and was fully thrown away by Sepp's behavior, but she had to present her friend's greatest achievement and be happy for her. So, she just shifted all the attention to Abby.

The spokesman for Sepp later addressed the allegations to be ridiculous. So, we are not sure whom to believe here.

The assets of Barbara are not known. But the net worth of Sepp is estimated to be around $40 Million. 

His main source of income is his career as a retired Swiss football administrator and also as he was the eighth President of FIFA.
