Anne Blanc is famous for being a spouse to French-born professional football manager Laurent Blanc. 

Blanc is the current head coach of Qatari club Al-Rayyan. He is the former player as well as former France and PSG boss.

Blanc’s career has spanned nearly four decades playing for several clubs, including Montpellier, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Manchester United, etc., and managing several clubs like Bordeaux, France, Paris Saint-Germain, and currently Al-Rayyan. 

He enjoyed a glittering playing career. He represented his country, earning 97 caps and scoring 16 international goals and was part of the 1998 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2000 that France won. 

Furthermore, he created history by becoming the first golden goal scorer in the World Cup History in the Round of 16, defeating Paraguay. 

He hung up his boots in 2003, being Manchester United his last club. 

His managerial career began with Bordeaux in 2007 where he spent successful three seasons leading the club to second place in Ligue 1 in the first season, setting the record of consecutive wins in the second season along with winning 2008-09 Coupe de la Ligue and topping a group in 2009-10 Champions League campaign in his third season. 

He resigned from his post to take over France, where he spent two seasons before signing Paris Saint-Germain in June 2013. 

He was dismissed from his post after three years at the helm despite his successive domestic trebles. After four years of exile from his work, he was signed by Al-Rayyan.
