Altay Bayindir

Altay Bayindir is a Turkish professional footballer. His origin is the Abkhaz-Circassian. 

He plays as a goalkeeper for the Fenerbahce and the Turkey national team.

Bayindir debuted in Super Lig with MKE Ankaragucu and played against Caykur Rizespor on November 30, 2018, which ended with a 1-1 score. 

Bayindir signed a contract of 3 years with the club Fenerbahce. 

Bayindir was selected as a goalkeeper in the first-choice, looking at his gameplay with his fellow Harun Tekin. 

He played his first match with Fenerbahce against Gazisehir Gaziantep F.K., which ended up with a score of 5-0. 

Bayindir even saved a penalty shot taken by Erik Sabo, which was encountered at week four against team Fatih Karagumruk; this ended with a 2-1 score for Fenerbahce. 

He saved another penalty shot from Radoslaw Murawski on December 6, 2020, while playing against Denizlispor, which Fenerbahce won by 2-0. 

He saved a total of 7 saves during the game where Fenerbahce was down to 10 men following the rule of Serdar Aziz.

Altay is the goalie of club Fenerbahce, who recently had an accident while training. 

In that accident, Altay injured his wrist, due to which he needed to undergo surgery. 

Altay had fractured the scaphoid bone in his wrist. It happened during the shooting practice on Friday. 

Being a vital part of the team as a goalkeeper, he is being treated well. 

Altay also posted a picture of him in hospital, captioning it as he had a successful surgery. 

The pain he experiences is not a new process. He postponed the surgery he had to go through before leaving his team alone. 

This process was not well known to him as he had also promised that he would return stronger to his supporters and thanked them for wishes and being there with him.
