She is the mother of an American-born football running back for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL), Joe Mixon.

Her son Joe was faced with aggravated menacing charges on the 2nd of February, 2023, in Hamilton County. 

He was alleged of pointing a gun towards a woman in Cincinnati and threatening her, saying she should be popped in the face and he should shoot her at the moment. 

The incident occurred on the 21st of January, the day before the Bengals defeated the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round of the playoffs. 

However, in less than 24 hours, the warrant that was issued against him was dismissed after the dismissal request of the Cincinnati prosecutor, saying they would need additional investigation before they would move forward with the case.

But the case might be refiled.

Kelsey Conway, via her tweet, shared that she reached out to Alise for comment on a warrant. 

Alise told Conway, “Did he do it, no he didn’t.” Conway also shared that Alise referenced the term “Money Hungry” and said, “you guys know Joe,” before she hung up.

Alise is mega close to all of her kids, especially Joe. She has been supporting his career from the very beginning.

Alise surprised her son by attending her son’s first NFL game back in 2017. 

When Joe was getting ready to run out of the tunnel at Paul Brown Stadium, she screamed Joe’s name.
