How did Alicia and Andrich meet?

Alicia and Robert met for the first time in October 2017 when he was playing in the third league, and she was working as a store manager. 

During an interview, Alicia said they met in a club, and unfortunately, he was not quite so sober, which was why he could not remember their conversation the next day. 

She then went to her parents' house, which was not that far from his apartment. 

During that time, Instagram had a messenger app that showed people near you, and since they were close, Instagram reported her closeness to him. 

He then messaged her in a normal way. She then pointed out to him that they had already met each other the previous evening. 

Even though he didn’t have any memory of her, they were attracted to each other. They soon began dating. 

Married life 

Alicia Andrich and Robert Andrich exchanged wedding vows on June 12, 2022. Robert posted a video of their wedding on his Instagram with the caption,

They will celebrate their second wedding anniversary on June 6, 2024.

However, it is not easy being a footballer's partner. She started accompanying her partner everywhere he went, so she had to quit her job as a store manager. 

She had to move three times and is responsible for organizing the entire move as Robert has to leave immediately. 

The couple has been residing in Dusseldorf since 2021. 

Children

Alicia and Robert announced their first pregnancy through an Instagram post on April 25, 2021. 

She recalled moving from Berlin to Leverkusen, where she was sitting in Berlin heavily pregnant, and how she didn't feel like it. 

Their first child, a daughter, was born on October 29, 2022, at 7:33 PM. They named their daughter Malia. 

Alicia introduced their daughter to the world through an Instagram post of her husband holding their newborn daughter with the caption,

Recently, they welcomed their second child, a son, on April 24, 2024. They named him Matteo. 

Alicia kept her fans updated on both of her pregnancies. She didn’t shy away and posted many pictures flaunting her baby bump. 

Alicia received death threats

Alicia received a message on her Instagram that scared her to death. The person who sent the message had wished death for the couple's daughter. 

Alicia said she gets scared after receiving such messages, especially at night when she is alone at home with her two small babies. 

She feels horrified as such messages have become more common nowadays and will become more and more extreme. 

According to sources, she had even reported two people on Instagram for such messages, but no action was taken. 

Alicia cannot stop worrying about her husband, either. During an interview, Robert revealed that his wife didn’t want him to play in Rome. 

Robert broke his metatarsal in Rome a year ago, which led Alicia to say such a thing. She also said if he played the game, she would not be able to watch. 

Robert said he understood why his wife said something like that. 

He said there are things that the woman is naturally worried about, but as a footballer, he doesn’t think about them that much. 

He does have a memory of what happened a year ago, but when the game starts, it's over.
