Alexandra Osteen

Alexandra Osteen is famous as the daughter of an American preacher, televangelist, author, and businessman Joel Osteen. 

Her mother, Victoria Osteen, is the co-pastor of Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas.

She is a member of the LYA band

Alexandra grew up alongside her elder brother Jonathan singing for the congregation, eventually performing in the Lakewood television series. 

She is also a member of the LYA band, which consists of four members, she, her brother, and two other members, Abel Orta, and Louie Garcia. 

All four of them grew up in the church together. LYA is a band from Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas. 

They make music, sing songs, and hope to make an inspiring impact on people. 

According to Alexandra, they were into music from the early days and always loved to do it. They have the same message as their father.

Her parents on deciding to make Jesus their choice 

Both of her parents have made Jesus their choice. According to her father, it was just home. He was probably four or five years old.

He was in his room when he just felt like it was his time. He just sat and prayed with his parents, and that was the day. 

It wasn't necessarily something big, but he believed it was the commitment that he knew that's how he wanted to live his life. 

As for her mom, it was probably when she was nine years old that she had the experience of being baptized and understanding what Jesus did. 

She has been drawn to it since then, she said. Joel and Victoria first met at Victoria's family store. 

Victoria was attracted to him because of his character and because she knew what she stood for, and also because of his sense of humor and his kind heart. 

Similarly, Joel was attracted to her not only because of her beauty but also her fun-loving nature and her love for Jesus. 

They got married in 1987 and have been together since then.

Joel's father founded the Lakewood Church in the back of an old feed store in 1959 and ran the church until his demise in 1999. 

Joel, who grew up running his father's television ministry and traveling around the world with his father, decided to take up his ministry. 

He said when his father died, he felt he was supposed to step up and ministry. 

His decision was wholeheartedly supported by his whole family, including his older brother, who is also a minister. 

On their decision to co-pastor, Joel said he just felt right that they were supposed to do it together as a team. 

She initially started taking 10 minutes to talk faith into people, and that was when the ministry started to grow up, he said.
