After the twins were born, the doctor said that it would be impossible for her to get pregnant again without many medical procedures. 

So, at this point, they had lost hope to have other kids. And slowly, she started to gain weight, and she just thought that she had been eating a lot and not been exercising. 

Still, when she started having symptoms which she didn't know at the time were because of pregnancy, she went to a doctor, and even the doctor screamed: "Oh my god", and when Tim asked what was wrong, the doctor told that there was a baby in her belly. 

They were surprised and happy at the same time.

As Alisyn had a lot of pregnancy problems, she considers her children to be her biggest gift and loves them to death.
