In An Interview, His Wife Reveals

In the rapid-fire round, actress Anna Popplewell chooses football over hockey. As she was indecisive about Canadian and European, she took both names. 

She preferred skinning and liked to have general coffee than Tim Hortons and Starbucks. It seems like she loves Christmas a lot as she mentioned it instead of winter or summer. 

As per her, it was so cold in Canada that she doubted anyone wanted to think about it. She would love to have protein than a salad and enjoy going around to 416 SNACK BAR in Toronto for foods.

When Crispy asked her about how much is she a costume person herself, as she has done lots of costumes for roles, to which she replied that she dresses up on Halloween, but it's much lower and low-key. 

She further added how her brother and sister-in-law, who lives in States, dressed up their baby up as their dog and their dog up as their baby.

Crispy was curious to know that beyond Yoda costume, are there any particular fandoms or what is her nerdy and geeky thing, to which she responded she doesn't see as she is not a huge gamer, but she is a huge Harry Potter fan. 

They further discussed Harry Potter and whether she had ever visited the Harry Potter-themed Park or not, to which she responded she had visited the one in the U.K.

Anna further shared how she was at the perfect age when she discovered about it. 

The thing that fascinates about the show is it combines two amazing things, i.e., going to a boarding school thing and then all the magic thrown in on top of that and its escapism. 

When asked by Crispy about her current obsession, she mentioned that she is obsessed with watching 'Glow,' and the thing that struck her about the show is the cast and all those wrestling stuff. 

While picking a random question, she was asked what TV show had the best second season, to which she replied "The Affair," as it started introducing like a more different perspective, and it was super original.

Anna is always surprised to be recognized

Sam’s spouse, in an interview, shared how she feels to be recognized for the role she played long back. She instantly replies, saying she is always surprised to be recognized for her role in The Chronicles of Narnia film series. 

Anna said it is a great thing to be known for the role she portrayed long ago as she claims the movie is quite nostalgic for many people. 

She feels nice if people still recall her for their fond and happy memories or the Christmas Eve thing as likewise, her interaction with the people will always be warm and lovely. 

At the same time, the actress feels very lucky just to be remembered in people’s nostalgia. When asked if the lady had struck any difference with being a new mother herself? 

Anna smiled and stated not yet, as her child is just nine months old and is very young to be watching. 

Anna shared that it will be quite a strange situation for her daughter in the future to be looking at her mom on the screen and in front of her. 

Anna shared that she had experienced the same situation with her niece and nephews. Nevertheless, Anna is very excited about that day. 

She also said that people are always kind to her babies, and it feels overwhelming. Other than that, when asked about Anna’s experience of interacting with her fans via virtual and in person. 

Anna said that during the pandemic, she did get involved in an online convention. She said that the people were unexpectedly lovely because there existed a shared experience that wasn’t before COVID. 

So generally, asking people about their day-to-day activities and topics about their professional work gave a feeling of a mutual conversation than convention sometimes is for Anna.

Also, the actress elaborated that during an online section, it felt like having pure communication with the audience and not like just rushing over to get the tickets in the crowd. 

From the heart, Anna enjoyed it as often people came back after a couple of months and continued the conversation, which she didn’t quite expect.
