How did he meet his future wife?
Marc and Laura first met in 2004.
Laura, at the time, was attending the Telluride Film Festival, where her latest film, Kinsey, was to be unveiled, and he was helping out with the festival.
According to Laura, he was assigned to ensure that she got from point A to point B on time and in one piece.
She recalled thinking to herself that he seemed like a nice guy and was relieved that he wasn't awkward, needy, or nervous, which can happen to people when assigned.
There was a sudden strong feeling of excitement and fear at the time because, at one point, she was thinking if she was attracted to her handler, but then she thought she had been single for a while and was like, "Well, nice. You are attracted to someone? How sweet".
One week later, he got an email from her.
They didn't start an affair but were in touch regularly until they were in a dilemma if their relationship was more than friends, and Marc asked her one day where they stood.
They later met in Chicago on her Kinsey publicity tour. That was how it started.
They walked down the aisle in May 2009. On their big day, actor Liam Nesson walked Laura down the aisle.
Prior to marrying him, Laura was married to actor David Adkins for five years, from 1995 to 2000.
His wife kept her pregnancy secret
Marc and Laura gave birth to their son on the 8th of January, 2014. But Laura didn't announce her pregnancy and kept it a secret.

She said she was an older mom-to-be, and it had taken her a long time to have a child, so she wanted to make sure that her child arrived safe and healthy.
