Daltrey was just 20 years old when he married her
Jackie and Roger got married at a very young age. They were dating when she got pregnant with his child and eventually got married in 1964.
Daltrey, at the time, was just 20 years old. They gave birth to their only son, Simon, in the same year.
The reason behind their failed marriage
Jackie and Roger's marriage started to fall apart after he left to pursue his career in the entertainment world. He used to be away from home for months.
They eventually got divorced in 1968.
Daltrey, in an interview with Big Issue, said when he left the family, he left with the intent that he could do better for everyone.
He thought if he followed his dream then trying to do something he couldn't handle, which was being married with a kid in one room of a council flat in Wandsworth.

Daltrey told the UK's Mirror that he is very close to his son Simon now. The whole tribe of them used to go on holiday together.
Similarly, Roger married American model Heather Taylor in 1971, whom he met in 1968. Heather was the inspiration for Jimi Hendrix’s “Foxy Lady.”
They got married at a registry office on the spur of the moment, Roger told Big Issue.
While appearing on CBS Mornings, he said Heather understood their business because she has been in the business, and they wanted to get married because they wanted to have children.
He recalled saying to her that he could not promise to her that he would ever be that sort of loyal husband, explaining that the business he is in is never going to be easy because it’s transient and there is always going to be temptation.
Roger said Heather accepted it, and it was never an issue in their marriage.
During an interview with Rolling Stone, Roger said he thinks his marriage to Heather survived because he was always honest with her.
At the end of every tour, however long they were away and whatever had gone on during the tour, he would be on the first plane back to her.
But underneath it all, he worshipped the ground she walked on, he added.
Roger said he is ready to go any time while reflecting on his death
Roger, in an interview with The Times, reflected on his death, and he said he is ready to go any time.
“My dreams came true so, listen I am ready to go any time. My family are all great and all taken care of”, he said.
“You can’t live your life forever. There are no guitar strings to be changed on this old instrument”, he added.
