She met Lawrence when they were teenagers but married later
Chandie and Joey first met in 1993 when they were both teenagers. They met on a vacation at Walt Disney World.
However, they only got married in 2005 because Joey was married to his first wife, Michelle Vella, before marrying her.

Talking about what went wrong in their marriage, he said it’s just irreconcilable differences. It’s just two people that aren’t right for each other.
Nothing was done wrong other than just falling out of love with that person. You want them to be happy, and you want to be happy.
He always tells his girls they are always going to be a family even though they don’t live in the same house, which, according to him, is inexcusable for not to work that way, he added.

They got married in an intimate outdoor wedding at Temecula Creek Inn in Temecula, California, in May 2022.
