Anna Soderstrom

Anna Soderstrom is one of those celebrities who came to limelight because of being married to a well-known celebrity. She is the wife of a famous actor, writer, comedian, screenwriter and film director, Terry Jones. 

Her Married Life and Husband

She married the famous actor Terry Jones in 2012. The couple dated for 5 years before tying the knot. In September 2009 the couple was blessed with a daughter whom they named Siri Jones. 

Although there was a huge age difference, it never affected their marital life. 

Anna was not her husband’s first wife. Her husband was previously married to Alison Telfer. 

The pair exchanged wedding vows in 1970. From their union, they had 2 children whose names are Sally Jones and Bill Jones. Bill Jones real name is William George Parry Jones but people know him as Bill more.  

The couple had an open marriage. In 2009 Jerry left her so that he could live the rest of his life with Anna Soderstrom. 

Anna is Going Through the Grief of Her Husband’s Death

How does it feel to know that your love is not alive anymore? Right now no one knows it better than Anna who lost her husband on January 21, 2020. 

Jones died at his home in North London due to dementia. 

“He died after a long, extremely brave but always good-humored battle with a rare form of dementia, FTD”, 

his family said.

He was accompanied by his wife, children, extended family, and many close friends in the last days of his life.

Her husband was a fighter

It was in 2015 when Jones was diagnosed with a form of dementia that affects the ability to speak and communicate. 

After being diagnosed with the disease he stopped giving interviews in 2016. 

A year later in 2017, he was no longer able to speak as revealed by his fellow Python member, Michael Palin. 

In an interview with BBC Radio 2, Michael said, 

“He knew exactly what was affecting him and he wanted to share that knowledge – because that is the way that Terry is. FTD may cause loss of inhibition, but Terry was never very inhibited in the first place.”

Her husband was a millionaire with an estimated net worth of $15 million. He was able to accumulate such a huge net worth through his career in the entertainment industry.

How Did Jones Make It?

He met his fellow Python member Michael Palin while he was still in college. They performed comedy together at college. 

In the late 60s, he appeared in comedy series such as Twice a Fortnight, The Complete and Utter History of Britain and Do Not Adjust Your Set”.

Later on, he along with Michael Palin, Eric Idle, John Cheese, Graham Chapman and Terry Gilliam formed the comedy group, Monty Python.
