Besides being a ski instructor, he is into the musical world. He is a composer, producer, editor, and audio medic. 

According to Alexander, he had always been inclined toward music until he discovered electronic music and started DJing as a hobby. 

While doing so, he realized he could create music and started cobbling together arrangements, getting inspired by house, trance, and electro-punk artists.

He was self-taught as it came as automatically as breath. It became his passion and continued throughout his formal education. 

Since then, he has recorded, mixed, and mastered three full-length albums of solo work under the moniker "audio medic." 

He is currently working on the fourth.

They were married for only four years, from 1990 until 1994. 

There was a rumor of his father cheating on his mother while they were still married after an American former madam Heidi Fleiss claimed that she was having an affair with her longtime crush James Caan and that she would visit him on the set of the 1993 mystery thriller film Flesh and Bones during an interview with Vanity Fair. 

However, Caan denied having an affair. His relationship with her was just platonic, he said.

How did his father get the role of Godfather?

His father will be forever remembered for his role as Sonny Corleone in the classic film The Godfather. 

Caan, while appearing on the "Charlie Rose" Show back in 1996, revealed how he got the role in The Godfather. 

According to him, he was friends with filmmaker Robert Evans, and they were looking for Greek-French film director Costa Gavras. 

Still, he instead suggested Francis Coppola saying that he is Mediterranean Italian. 

His father was the lead flutist for Toscanini, and he was into film as he grew up in the music and the cutting room from the age of four. 

So, when Coppola got the job, Caan, along with Al Pacino and Marlon Brando, did some improvisation. 

Two months later, Caan got a call from Coppola saying that they wanted him to give the test for the role of Michael. 

So he went to the studio where he saw almost every actor that one could possibly imagine to give a test. 

For some reason, they didn't want Al Pacino to play Michael, but Coppola had his cast in his head and was looking for Pacino to give another test.

After all of that, they ended up with the same cast. 

Caan said that Coppola had the whole concept where he wanted Sonny to be more Americanized and Pacino to be more Italian.
