Abed Rashid is the husband of Yalda Hakim. Abed is mainly recognized as being the celebrity spouse. 

Professionally speaking, Abed used to work as the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) sergeant.

Other than that, they meet each other every four days. And when his spouse is on work, they only get to see each other after two months as she is assigned to remote and dangerous locations. 

Yalda shared that at the beginning, her spouse used to travel a lot and even got disappeared for whole three months due to his work, but the lady kept supporting, and when the roles got exchanged later, Abed equally understood and supported her.

Yalda was raised in Sydney, and just at age 15, young Yalda started writing for the local paper. Her passion led her towards TV networks Nine and Ten along with local radio stations.

Not only this, his better half even worked at SBS for one year without salary. Yalda explains that she wanted to only learn and be in that space.

Originally, Yalda belonged to Afghanistan. She was just six months while her entire family shifted from Afghanistan. 

At that time, the Soviet-Afghan war was happening. Moreover, all of them sat on a horseback overland to the way at Tajikistan along with the support of smugglers. 

Nevertheless, two years later, they settled down in Australia as migrants. Her dad studied architecture in Czechoslovakia while her mom served as a nurse.
